Dr. Tazin Daniels is an assistant director at the Center for Research on Learning and Teaching at the University of Michigan and holds a doctorate in anthropology. She is an educational developer, consultant and coach who has published on strategies for equitable online teaching and preparing the next generation of inclusive educators. Although her daily work focuses on supporting instructors, her current research agenda seeks to explore the experiences of educational developers of color in order to identify barriers to hiring, retention and promotion. Dr. Daniels strongly believes that this is an important step towards creating an equitable and inclusive future for students, educators and educational developers alike.
